Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

At the start of February I am planning on cutting my hair (at least 12 inches worth!) in order to support 2 local charities.

Firstly, I will be donating my hair to the Little Princess Trust for the second time. I will also be making a personal donation to them, to support their work.

The second charity I am supporting is Marches Family Network. They are a lifeline to over 200 families in Herefordshire and the surrounding areas, providing respite sessions and family support to children and young people, up to the age of 25. I have now worked for the charity for 5 years, and feel it is time that I did something to give back.

With no council support to provide their services, Marches Family Network has to raise a staggering amount of money each year in order to provide support to families that may otherwise have nothing. I hope that by doing this, and getting sponsored to do so, I can support the charity.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

About the charity

We work with young people aged 0-25 years, with a wide range of disabilities. These young people have a right to the same opportunities in life as their non-disabled peers. We strive to provide these opportunities through our activities, services and short break sessions.
