Our story

Since 2009, Motivation by Music (MbM) has been connecting communities through singing, and in recent years has had the privilege of partnering with two incredible charities to facilitate choirs that empower, support and give purpose to their members.

Since founder and multi award-winning local hero, Emily Bollon, re-imagined the ToC Voices choir, they have grown from strength to strength producing dazzling performances both in person (pre-pandemic) and virtually! The UK lockdown saw ToC Voices’ rehearsals “Zoom” online - where the choir continues to thrive, and enjoyed releasing their beautiful virtual rendition of Randy Newman's You’ve Got a Friend in Me earlier on the pandemic.

Topic of Cancer is a registered charity in England and Wales. Registered no. 1151079.
