Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Sadly, we lost Mavis on 16th December. She was loved by so many, and will be sadly missed.
Due to the current covid restrictions, it isn't possible for all of those who knew and loved her to attend the funeral next week, so as a family we would like to give something back to those who have helped Mavis and the family over the last few months. Without the support of these fantastic charities, Mavis wouldn't have been able to spend her last weeks at home, surrounded by her family.
We are only able to raise money for one of the charities on here, and St Mary's was a very important organisation to her, so we have decided to focus on them, however we would also like to thank Macmillan Cancer Support, and Reliacare for their fantastic care and support to Mavis and all of the family. Please feel free to support macmillan also in tribute to Mavis if you wish to do so.
We would like to ask anyone who is unable to attend the funeral due to current restrictions, or anyone who is attending and would like to bring flowers, to instead make a donation on this page to St Mary's Hospice, to help them to continue providing the outstanding care and support they offer to the local community.
We would also like to ask you for any memories or stories you may have from the past that we can share with Bob and the family.
Thank you so much in advance from all of the family.
Bob, Neill & Chris, Keith & Dianne, Rochelle, Jason, Anya, Faye, Jack & George & everyone else that knew and loved her. She will be dearly missed by all.
