We’re fundraising for World Animal Protection, and we’d love your support! 

Mauve Group has a long and proud history of supporting charities through our #MauveMakingADifference brand. For the next instalment of our 25th anniversary celebrations, we’re announcing our brand-new month-long charity fundraising campaign – the #MauveGoesGreen Challenge! 

The Mauve family has voted World Animal Protection as the charity they’d most like to fundraise for – and we couldn’t be prouder to be supporting this worthy cause. 

World Animal Protection is a global organisation with a mission to protect animals from needless suffering. The Humane Society of the United States estimates that nearly one million animals a year are abused in episodes of domestic violence – and this doesn’t begin to cover the cruelty faced by animals in the wild and elsewhere.   

Animal protection goes hand-in-hand with environmental action, too - by preserving ecosystems and habitats, all wildlife has a far better chance of survival. Mauve is joining with World Animal Protection to support its vision of a sustainable future where animal cruelty is non-existent. 

What is the #MauveGoesGreen Challenge? 

Over the next month, the Mauve family will follow an activity calendar of daily and weekly challenges, plus bonus tasks. Company-wide, the team will be aiming to earn points for completed tasks and edge up the #MauveGoesGreen leaderboard. 

From active challenges, to volunteering, to planting trees, to learning of the impact of fast fashion on animal habitats, each task aims to encourage, inform and inspire changes we can action in our own lives to create a better existence for animals. 

How can I support? 

To help us achieve our fundraising goal and incentivise us through a month of challenges, we’d be so grateful if you could donate to the cause. 

By choosing to donate to World Animal Protection, you will help to give animals a voice across boardrooms, communities, farming and the wild. In 2019, for every £1 donated, 76p went directly towards protecting animals worldwide, and 24p went on fundraising.  

It’s a challenging time for charity fundraising at the moment – but even the smallest donation will help to make a big difference to the lives of animals the world over. We’ll keep you updated on our progress here and across our social channels, so keep an eye out!
