Maureen was cruelly taken from us by the lung disease, Mesothelioma. Caused by exposure to asbestos decades ago, this disease quickly robbed Maureen of her vitality, her mobility, then her life. 

During her illness the charity, Asbestos Action, made sure she and Gordon knew what was happening, helping with all sorts of practicalities. We are grateful for their kind help.
