When my Dad sadly passed away in Jan 2020, I vowed to do something in his memory once the world started to return to normal after Covid! After much thought, a second (and final!) marathon seemed like the perfect challenge. 

** Due to an achilles injury picked up in training, I am now running Leeds Marathon in 2024 and not 2023**

My dad worked with German Shepherd dogs for many years and I'll be fundraising for German Shepherd Dog Rescue (GSDR), a charity that would have meant a lot to him.
