Story
So, after failing to finish last year's marathon and spending a few days as a guest of Kings College hospital, I decided the only way to make up for that slight misdemeanour was to do it properly this year - and FINISH!
I’m running to help raise money for a fantastic charity, The Honorary Doctors Association (HDA).
The HDA was established by a group of leading London doctors whose aim is to provide free unbiased second opinions and further medical treatment, to those who may not be in a position to get this kind of help privately.
I've experienced first-hand just how dedicated and determined the HDA are as they saved the sight of my mum and without them, she may well have gone blind.
The HDA offers everybody the chance toget a fresh, independent and unbiased opinion on their healthcare. I'd really like to take this opportunity to help the HDA in order to offer their invaluable service to others who may need it.
Luckily I have my place in the London through the ballot (again!), so I don't need to raise a minimum amount however all donations are much needed and appreciated, so please donate where you can, no matter how big or small.
