On Sunday 4th November I am going to swim the Maratón Acuático de Baradero in the Baradero River, two hours North West of Buenos Aires.

This basically translates into traveling an hour upstream on a barge with over 400 other swimmers, probably dressed in a bin liner to keep out the cold, before embarking on a 9km swim back. Hopefully the current will be as strong as they say it is!
