Thank you for taking the time to visit this JustGiving page set up in memory of my mother Mary Logan. 

In 2019, Mum was diagnosed with Giant Cell Arteritis (GCA). Little is known about this condition and why and how it is caused. GCA is described as the inflammation of cells affecting the arteries of the head, neck and upper limbs. Two of Mum's close friends now have this condition.

By supporting PMRGCAuk, we will be helping to fund better research, awareness, communication and better support for the medical professions. Better information, clear communication and improved support for patients will also help reduce the risk of sight loss.
