Story

I am participating in my St. John's Episcopal Youth Group's annual Fill The Bowl event. Proceeds benefit The Lunch Project, a nonprofit that powers community-driven lunch programs in Tanzania. About the charity

We power community-driven lunch programs in Tanzania, feeding over 5,000 students at 6 schools. $100 per day provides lunch for an entire school, which breaks down to less than a dime per student. Schools with lunch programs see their average attendance rise and test scores improve.
