Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am raising money for SAMH (Scottish Association For Mental Health) by writing short stories for 24 hours on the 19th of September. I've set a bit of a lower target as theres only a month to raise funds, but I do plan on doing another one later in the year, with proceeds split between Cancer Research UK and SAMH. SAMH are the leading mental health charity in Scotland, and they do a lot lot to raise awareness and help people suffering from mental illnesses throughout the country. To find out more about what they do, you're best checking out this page instead of listening to my babble.

If you donate more than £10, you can suggest a subject for me to write a story about on the day. I'm passionate about this as SAMH do a lot to help eliminate the stigma attached to mental illnesses. Writing was a big part of helping me overcome my own struggles with depression so I felt this was the best way to help raise money. I'll be posting the stories on a blogspot page as I do them.

Thanks for taking the time to read.
