Hi everyone. Having recently taken up cycling (again) I now qualify officially as one of the many MAMIL's (middle-aged man in lycra) seen out on roads every weekend. Having worked for Thames Water for many years, I have seen the amazing work WaterAid do helping people access safe water. 

As a dad with a young family I can't imagine my girls not having water on-tap and struggling with illness and day to day living, so I want to do something small to help tackle this issue by losing a few pounds as I train in order to generate a few pounds in donations.

WaterAid help the world’s poorest communities to transform their lives with clean water. 1 in 10 people don’t have access to safe water and 1 in 3 don’t have access to a decent toilet. I believe that everyone everywhere should have these basic human rights by 2030 and with your support we can make that happen.
