During the Covid 19 pandemic CYC has achieved the status of a preparation centre for Cambridge English. We aim to have c50 students sit an exam in the next 12 months at a cost of c$65 per exam to obtain this highly regarded qualification

Story

Cambodia Youth For Change provides a school in the Kampong Speu province of Cambodia giving children access to English classes for various levels of proficiency, a library, IT access as well as a safe place to play. We provide scholarships to underprivileged children to ensure they can stay in full time education. During 2022, we wish to strengthen our offering to the children through the teaching of the Cambridge English syllabus and give them the opportunity to obtain an internationally recognised qualification which can open doors in terms of further education and work. 100% of donations to CYC are received by the children, so your donation will go a long way to making a huge difference to the lives of the amazing children of Kampong Speu!

Cambodia Youth For Change has been established to promote learning and leadership in Cambodia. All fundraising efforts support a Learning Centre in Kampong Speu, Cambodia. We provide predominantly English classes, books and computers for a library service, and also provide leadership scholarships to children from underprivileged backgrounds so that they can remain in school. We provide university scholarships to support children through their university studies. The Learning Centre provides access to child friendly spaces for children to play and have fun in a safe environment. We have c130 children attending the Learning Centre every day.
