Story

Mark was an adventurous, creative, extraordinary individual, who was loved by so many.

He had many skills and interests including scuba diving, photography, marathons, mountaineering, illustrating and overall enjoying the great outdoors and what it has to offer.

He was good-hearted, exceptionally talented and truly one of a kind.

On March 26th 2023, Mark passed away peacefully after his battle with cancer. He fought strongly and bravely until the very end and we all miss him dearly.

We have created this page to remember him and to continue his support for the Rossendale and Pendle Mountain Rescue Team.

Rossendale and Pendle Mountain Rescue Team are a registered charity, made up entirely of volunteers. They are an integral part of the national search and rescue service and cover an area of approx 350 square miles across East Lancashire, Pendle, the Rossendale Valley and parts of Greater Manchester.

All donations in Mark's memory will go towards this charity, and we know this would mean so much to him.

Thank you for your contribution.
