FatGoat does the Pendle Witch Walk

Pendle Witch Walk · 18 August 2012 ·
August the 18th (a Saturday) this year marks the 400th anniversary of the Pendle Witch Trials. To commemorate this dark time in Lancashire’s history there will be a world-record-breaking sponsored walk up and over Pendle Hill in aid of Pendle Hospice.
The aim is to get the world record for the amount of Witches assembled in one place. I'm not a Witch...but any chance to have a walk up Pendle is an open invite for me. So I'm going to be taking part...hopefully not falling down Boar Clough, not running out of steam ascending those dreadful steps at Barley and not taking more than 4 hours to do it!
