Looks like the 2020 election isn’t the only thing that’s going to last at least 25 years! Amidst the chaos of the past week, I wanted to use my FB b-day platform to celebrate the incredible Georgia activists that—for the past few days and the months to come—have entered the national spotlight.

Having worked in GA for the past year and a half, I have been so blessed to get to know some of the advocates and organizations like GLAHR who for years have worked to advance the cause of human rights in their own backyards. While donations to Senate candidates might change the face of the next Congress, investment in grassroots organizations will shape communities for years to come.
