Story

I agreed earlier this year to take part in Barclays Wheels For Change event.  The time is now coming, on 9th September, when I will be cycling 100km in a great big loop, starting and ending at the Olympic Velodrome.  It really will be a tremendously exciting challenge.  There have been some who doubted I would be able to make it - including myself as I didn't even have a bike until June - but with a little bit of training behind me I now have high hopes of completing the course in one piece!

As well as helping with my general health and fitness, and catching the biking bug, I will be taking part alongside many other Barclays colleagues to raise money for charity.  In particular The Prince's Trust, which is one of Barclays charity partners and focuses on 13-30 year olds who are unemployed, struggling at school or are at risk of exclusion.

I would be grateful for any and all support you can offer for this great cause by donating via my Justgiving page.
