Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Please donate something - no matter how small.
My dad passed away in April this year having suffered from dementia for the last 18 months or so. His birthday was September 18th which is the day before the Great North Run, so I felt it was a fitting way to do something to support other people suffering from this horrible disease. My dad’s ex-wife also suffers from alzheimer’s and so I understand the effect it has on my sister and family. I thought that running a half marathon to support the Alzheimer’s society is the least I could do to help support this very worthy cause. .Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
