Story

To celebrate Marie Curie Belfast Hospice 50th Anniversary we our aiming to raise a massive £100,000 from key sporting events and our bi annual Gala evening  www.thetimeball.org in the Europa Hotel on the 14/11/15.

2015 is a massive year for all 3 of us, Anne hit the BIG 50, Andrew  Turned 40 and Mark celebrates his 18th wedding anniversary. To celebrate each landmark we decided to embark upon a series of sporting challenges including Duathlons, Belfast Marathon, Lough Cutra Half Ironman and culminating in Franfurt Ironman 2015. For those who are unsure Ironman consists of 2.4 mile Swim, 112 mile Cycle and finishes with a 26.2 mile run.

We are all under no illusion the challenge that we have set ourselves, but we all believe that the work and support provided by the Marie Curie Team deserved to recognised by pushing ourselves well ourside our individual comfort zone!

Follow us on Facebook and see how we get on. 🏊🏻🚴🏃🏻Remember every £20raised pays for 1hr of nursing.
