Pam was a lovely, happy lady who was great fun. She was always smiling ! Her warmth and kind heart made her a truly special person. When my son met her for the first time, after moving to the UK from Australia, (he was only 2 at the time) he loved her instantly. When we left her home, he called out from the car "More Pam !!" A beautiful memory I have of her which I will cherish forever. We lost touch the last few years of her life but I often thought of her and wished things were the same as they'd been before. This is why I'm doing this walk (unfit and untrained as I am !). For Pam and for many family and friends who have battled cancer. I understand there is an initiative to bring Macmillan cancer support to Pam's area as there currently isn't any. So please donate a little something, even if it's a pound ! Thank you :) <3
