Older people are most at risk with the outbreak of Coronavirus. Age Concern Hampshire need your support to help raise funds to provide well-being services to our vulnerable community to prevent social isolation and loneliness as a result of COVID19.
Story
Age Concern Hampshire are passionate about supporting older people throughout Hampshire and they need us now more than ever. With the Coronavirus outbreak labelled as a pandemic by the World Health Organisation we recognise that older people are one of the groups most at risk. Many are being advised to self-isolate and some of our Day / Social Care provisions will be temporarily reduced to protect the health and safety of clients. These precautions will cause involuntary social isolation. Our services operate to prevent social isolation and loneliness while ensuring the health and well-being of elderly people. We are calling on supporters to donate towards our emergency campaign to help us provide provisions such as well-being check-ins (via telephone consultations) to alleviate the impact of COVID19.
Donations will go towards whatever is needed such as coordinating regular telephone check-ins as well as home visits, shopping trips and general domestic support if required.

Our vision is that getting older is a positive experience and with our support on this aging journey, older people are respected, valued and able to make informed choices.
We work towards making this a reality by providing services and support to people over 50 in Hampshire.
