As you know Margot has been living with cancer for the best part of 20 years.  We are sad to say that she passed away on Sunday 6th February.  

She always knew what was in her future and took a different approach than many by having open conversations including celebrating life with her own living funeral.  A number of folks were able to gather, write a message on her decorated coffin, share fun stories and smiles with her while she was in relatively good health and able to enjoy the day.

Margot was very clear that she doesn't want us to hold a traditional funeral, instead please join us in taking comfort in your most recent good moment with Margot, fond memories from whichever decade of life, remember her vibrant outfits, her creative talents, and her support of others in times of need.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are appreciated for Manna House in Kendal.  They are an amazing organization and  provided a lot of support to Margot through the years.
