Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Margate Rotary Club has a long history of helping and supporting young disadvantaged people in our local community but we need to do more and we need your help to do it!
Many young people area need our support with:
- Life skills
- Coaching
- Be-friending services
- Sports training
- Vocational studies
- Psychological support
- Mental Health issues
- Having fun
Every year Margate Rotary Club presents the Thanet School Arts
Festival, bringing together local schools to produce a huge gallery of painting and drawings.
All their hard work culminates in a prizegiving presentation led by some of the areas well known and talented artists.
The success of the annual festival can be measured in the commitment the children show in producing the art work
and the support of teachers, parents and the local community. In order to continue this annual event, we need your help.

What’s involved?
RYLA events are organized locally by Rotary clubs and districts for participants ages 14-30. Depending on community needs, RYLA
may take the form of a one-day seminar, a three-day retreat, or a week long camp. Typically, events last 3-10 days and include presentations, activities, and workshops covering a variety of topics.
The local community may host a RYLA event for secondary school students to hone their leadership potential, for university
students to develop creative problem-solving strategies, or for young professionals to learn ethical business practices.
