My Mum must have spent hundreds of hours in the Institute over the 92 years she lived in Penyffordd. She was always enthusiastic about supporting events there, ranging from playing badminton in her early years to attending the annual Remembrance Service, WI, Flower Club, concerts and the many meetings for the groups she was associated with that were also held there. 

Recently she was so pleased that the building was being renovated and I am sure she would be so proud that donations in her memory were being used to perpetuate the vital hub of the village for many years to come. .
