The YMCA of Greater Boston stepped up in real time along with many partners to provide real support during the Coronavirus health crisis. We are grateful for you and your support enabling us to respond to whatever challenges faced by those we serve.

Story

In response to COVID 19/Coronavirus, the YMCA of Greater Boston recently closed all of its branches for fitness and aquatics and reopened them as Emergency Child Care Centers (ECC) for the children of parents who were required to work. The Y stepped forward to serve the most vulnerable children and families. They are investing in hunger prevention and the support of essential workers healthcare providers, first responders, police and firefighters and others. Please join me in supporting the YMCAs response efforts to the COVID-19 Health Crisis so they can continue to provide food and care to essential workers and vulnerable children. All donations made to COVID-19 Response Community Programming will go to the YMCA of Greater Boston's Annual Fund, which supports areas of greatest need in our community; emergency care for essential workers and vulnerable children, and preventing hunger so no child is hungry.
