Story
Marco died tragically and unexpectedly at the age of 25, with everything to live for. He had achieved incredible success at work and was surrounded by so many friends who loved him, as well as his proud parents. Marco had a phenomenal character and touched everyone he met, demonstrating how to live and love life to the full.
Rugby was a huge part of his life, and what he learned through playing it regularly from the age of ten substantially contributed to the wonderful person he became. In particular, captaining several teams helped him develop significant emotional intelligence, as well as empathy, team-building and leadership.
If you would like to help us commemorate his memory, please donate to Wooden Spoon, which funds life-changing projects supporting children and young people with disabilities or living in disadvantage in the UK and Ireland.
Marco helped everyone around him and he would have loved to be part of this venture.
