Story

WE'RE RUNNING A MARATHON!

When we decided to take on the Mega-Marathon Challenge, the end seems a long way away. Now we are more than half way having completed the Royal Parks Half and well into training for the Brighton Marathon. We're both thoroughly enjoying the running and won't stop post-marathon, but we won't ask anyone to part with any cash after this!

Before 2014 Jemma had never run further than 5k-on a treadmill. And Scott has completed one such competitive race, a 10k during which a valiant attempt at a rapid sprint finish ended in him throwing up his Rice Krispies.

I (Jemma) earlier this year (2014) signed up for a 10k race for life and, upon realising 10k isn't as hard as I'd imagined, (and Scott possessing a strong competitive instinct) we both decided it's time to use our legs to do some good and take on a bigger (series of) challenge(s).

Running for Stroke Association was an easy choice because Scott lost both of his Grandmothers to stroke in the past 6 years.

We're confident the money we raise is going to a great cause but if you would like to know more-click here: http://www.stroke.org.uk/fundraise/how-your-support-helps
