Fundraising for BUDS
Story
As most of you know, in August 2022 we lost our dear Connie, a much loved Mum, Gran and friend to many, after a 6 year battle with Dementia.
If you have had the unfortunate experience of losing a loved one to Dementia, you will know just how much of a heartbreaking disease it is.
During the early stages of Connie's diagnosis, we received much needed support and guidance from BUDS to steer us through what was a traumatic and bewildering time. Their help was and has been invaluable to so many.
BUDS is a small local charity. They strive to improve the quality of life for those living with Dementia and their carers and families, offering physical, mental and emotional support as well as ensuring people suffering with dementia are treated with dignity and respect.
We would like to raise money for BUDS in memory of Connie, as our way of saying thank you and we would like for this contribution to help others as it did with our family.
Any donation big or small would be much appreciated by us, BUDS and the families in need.
