We are raising much needed funds to help fight Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I started slimming world in Sept 2012 and have been thrilled with what they have helped me achieve. I am at target with a loss of 2st 3lb and am a damn sight fitter too. So I want to give them some help in return.

This year as part of Slimming Worlds Slim For Good Campaign they have decided to back the Joining Jack Charity and have created an event to raise funds in order to find a cure for Duchenne Muscular Distrophy. The money will be used to discover treatments which will increase the current life expectency of it's sufferers and eventually a cure.

This event will be taking place at Hindley Sports Centre on Sunday 24th March at 12 noon until 3pm and I am sure it will be great fun for all taking part as it is for such a worthwhile cause.

Please help by making even the smallest of donations to help find a cure for this little boy and so many others that are suffering from this awful illness. Thank you xx
