Story

I wanted to do something to show my support and thanks to Road to Recovery Trust and George street Social. They help support and promote abstinence based recovery in the north east.

Through George Street they offer a safe place which is drug and alcohol free where you can go have a cup of coffee/tea, enjoy quality food and a place to meet right in the city centre! During these difficult times they have started a service whereby they prepare make and deliver 450 meals on a Friday to those in need!

There’s been lots of different fundraising activities during the crisis and that inspired me to do something a little silly, those who know me know I’m not likely to run a marathon, so instead I am going to watch one. All 8 Harry Potter movies and the two fantastic beast movies back to back. Over 24 hours worth!! No sleep!

Starting next Saturday 10am starting with the philosopher’s stone till the final movie on Sunday!
