Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I organised many hours of unpaid work on the Surrey Care Trust's Swingbridge canal boat when I worked for Surrey Probation.

When I received their leaflet advertising this event in my pigeonhole at Elmbridge Borough Council, it sat on my desk for a week 'looking at me' until I had no choice - I logged onto the website and filled in my details.

I enjoy this kind of challenge. In 2013 I completed "Le Belier", a 27 kilometre event in the Alps, in under four hours. I expect to do the 24 miles of the 5 peaks course in a more leisurely eight to ten hours.

It will spur me on to know that I am raising funds for the Surrey Care Trust. Please make a donation if you can.
