Story

Hello, and thanks for visiting the Maidenbower Charity Fund Raising page.  All this money goes directly to charity.

Why this charity?  Well, because I lost my brother Graham to cancer, then my 17-year-old niece, Georgina Woodley (an Oriel pupil), and most recently, my dear father in October 2023 to bladder cancer. This is in memory of them all, together with the millions of cancer victims and survivors world wide...

This is the 3rd charity we have supported. The first was Cancer Research; £3,000 was raised, then we supported St Catherines Hospice where we raised another £3,000 and this is the latest appeal where we hope to raise even more.

Throughout the year the Group tries to raise money through a variety of methods ie advertising, auctions, business donations etc.

If you are an advertiser we ask for a minimum donation of £5 via this page BEFORE posting your ad.  It's our way of putting something back into the local community. In return, you will reach 5,000+ local residents with your message. The Group does not take a single penny - it all goes to The Olive Tree Cancer Support Centre in Crawley.

ADVERTISERS: Please donate as much as you feel able but a minimum donation of £5 for each advertising post is required.

PLEASE DONATE BEFORE YOU POST YOUR AD OR IT MAY GET DELETED BEFORE APPROVAL.

PLEASE ENSURE YOU LEAVE YOUR NAME AND REASON FOR DONATION ie "John Smith for car advert" or "Jane Jones for auction of hotel stay" then we can account for the donations being made.

Thank you sincerely for your support.
