Every 4 minutes in Bangladesh, a child less than 1 month old dies because their mother didn't have access to proper post-natal and ante-natal care. Too often the period during pregnancy, delivery and after birth is filled with challenges that can cost mothers their lives. 

In Bangladesh currently maternal mortality is the third most common cause of death. The highest rates of maternal mortality occur in Bangladesh's rural regions, particularly where the majority of the population is impoverished. On top of this, with Bangladesh being one of the poorest countries in the world, Bangladeshis also face hunger, disease, exploitation and poverty. An extreme and endless cycle they can never break out of.

However with your support these deaths are preventable. Maa help to educate, diagnose and provide medication to mothers and their new born babies, providing dynamic and holistic care to the underprivileged. 

MaaMonth was started in 2018 as a national initiative every February to raise money and allow Maa to continue the work we do to support mothers. With your help, we can transform the lives of these mothers and create a protective and safer health environment for them. 

Charity is not only a fundamental pillar of Islam, but it is a revolutionary concept to ease the suffering of millions of people.
