We educate children in rural Uganda to help lift the community out of poverty

Story

Mustardseed Arts and Educational Trust has built Mustardseed Junior School in Sentema, Uganda. Our mission is to provide an inspirational and practical education to the young children in our care, many of whom are orphans or vulnerable, and to encourage them to flourish and prosper in Uganda and the wider world, inspiring them with the knowledge and self-confidence to make their world a better, greener and more peaceful place. With the motto 'start small, grow great', we believe local education is key to propelling wider change in Uganda.

Our aim for 2022 is to raise £1,480 pounds to provide handmade Ugandan musical instruments for our friends at Mustardseed Junior School. We aim to cover 1,480km through a series of individual challenges to celebrate our Founders Day on the 24th June. Our school was founded by William Waynflete in 1480.
