Thank you for taking the time to visit my just giving page.
On Sunday 23rd April I will be taking on my biggest challenge when I run the London Marathon. I would like to raise money for the charity CLIC Sargent.
I have been touched by cancer when my mums best friends son was diagnosed. Max was my age and was a childhood friend from birth.
His parents were devastated when he was diagnosed and then bravely started the difficult and painful journey that far to many parents have to go through when they hear those terrible words.
I remember Max's mum saying that one particular charity really made a difference. CLIC Sargent helps families limit the damage cancer causes beyond their health. Cancer doesn't discriminate so from diagnosis CLIC Sargent's specialist care teams step in, are ready to help, support and guide. They provide a specialist package of support tailored to each young cancer patient and their family.
The saddest part is that I won't be able to tell max how much I have raised because he lost his fight. And so I am running in his memory and for the thousands of other young people have to face this frightening and destructive disease everyday.
Please help me support this amazing charity, any donations would be greatly appreciated. Help me make a difference.
Many thanks X
