Dear Friends! 

In this darkest hour for Ukraine, please support this fundraising effort by the Ukrainian community to help those suffering in Ukraine.

The funds will be used to procure medicines and medical equipment from UK and European suppliers. The current focus is on the first aid. We are in close coordination with the Embassy of Ukraine in the UK and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine to ensure that we respond to the needs on the ground and are additional to other donors. 

From the raised funds we have already procured and delivered 845 units of homeostatic gauze (Celox) for the total amount of GBP 30,000. We are finalising the procurement of 650 first aid kits for the total amount of EUR 81,900 and co-financing of another 1,000 first aid kits for the amount of USD 52,000 financed together with British-Ukrainian Aid. Procurement is done by Ukraine Charity and is distributed with assistance of Ukrainian Medical Association of the UK. Stay put for the updates.

This fundraising is part of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development's (EBRD) Community Initiative. The Initiative will provide additional EUR 150,000 to complement the fundraising.
