Story

I’m running the Liverpool Half Marathon on Sunday 25th March at Pier Head in Liverpool. It’s my first ever running event having decided earlier this year that entering a half marathon would be a new and fun experience. I’m hoping that I’ve done enough training, I’ve done lots of outside runs and with help from Netflix, I have been training inside on the treadmill too!

The Liverpool Half Marathon is in it’s 25th year with its first event dating back to 1994 so it’s rumoured to be a special event. I’ve decided since entering the half marathon that I’d like to raise money for local charity, Crossroads Care, as they are celebrating their 30th anniversary this year.

Crossroads Care is an Isle of Man charity and is a provider of practical and emotional support for carers living on the Isle of Man. Their service is about giving time, improving the lives of carers by giving them time to be themselves and have a break from caring.

Any donation, no matter how large or small will be greatly appreciated by myself and Crossroads Care.

Thanks for all your support.
