I know it is late notice but I wanted to create this page today as April 2018 is bowel cancer awareness month.

My family and I have had personal experience of this disease as our close friend and her family have been dealing with all the issues and emotions surrounding bowel cancer.

Bowel cancer is not just an old persons disease, it is also treatable and curable when diagnosed early. Sharon is currently still undergoing treatment but thankfully is now on the road to recovery.

I am running this marathon as anything we can do that helps prevent other families living through this kind of experience can only be a positive thing. Please help by giving as little or as much as you can.

We want to raise awareness of this disease and help the charity get the support it deserves.

I really appreciate all of your support and if you can help me raise at least £10.00 for each marathon mile, I will be happy!
