Story
Lucy was our first born beautiful baby girl, she came into the world on 23rd January 2005 and we were a very happy family. When Lucy was just 4 months old our lives were turned upside down when following a cold Lucy was admitted to hospital and within a few days was diagnosed with atypical HUS. Lucy battled against the illness for 4 months, and always remained a happy baby throughout all her suffering. On 27th September 2005, Lucy lost her battle aged just 8 Months.
In 2005 we set up the very first tribute fund in her name and met Doctor Johnson who was researching the illness thanks to an Action Medical Research Grant. We continue to raise money and friends and family make donations at Christmas and on Lucy's Birthday.
She will always be a part of our family, and her two sisters and brother are growing up knowing that they had another beautiful sister.
