I'm proud to be a trustee of ACT - a wonderful, small, practical, focussed grant-giving charity that changes the lives of children of actor parents and  helps them live secure and creative lives no matter what.  

In the last year alone the charity has given away over £1.1m. A large proportion of that was in crisis grants through the pandemic, putting food on the table and paying the bills of acting families while our industry closed down. Those crisis grants continue to this day as the creative industries remain massively impacted and opportunities to work are very few for actors. 

 The rest helps support children's everyday lives and interests so that they are not disadvantaged even when times are hard for their parents. 

In our 125th year we are fundraising to ensure we can support even more children into the future. I am undertaking a modest 125 ACTivity with my dog Bingo - upping our daily steps from 10,000 to 12,500 for the month of July.  Thank you for sponsoring me!
