Lucie will be having 16 inches cut off her beautiful hair, to help raise funds for Rochdale Children’s Moorland Home.
The hair will also be donated to the little princess trust who make wigs for children who have lost their hair through cancer treatment
Rochdale Children's Moorland Home has been providing holidays to disadvantaged children for over 125 years. Covid-19 put a temporary stop to this but we still have ongoing costs and our donations have reduced by around 90%. It costs around £5500 month to keep the charity going. We want to be prepared to start up as straight away once safe to do so. We believe, from discussion with our referrers, demand for our service will surge over the next year and beyond. Covid-19 has put many families and children into crisis and they need you now more than ever.Referrals are made by schools and social care. Referrals come to us for many reasons including but not limited to, children who have suffered loss, suffered abuse, family members with medical problems, death of a family member and poverty.
