Story
Louise passed away on Sunday, 25th April after a short but spirited fight against cancer.
Cancer was just one of many health challenges Louise bravely faced in her all too short lifetime. Not least of these was Lupus, which Louise was diagnosed with in her early 20s. For those that don’t know, Lupus is an incurable immune system illness which can lead to irreversible damage to major organs. In Louise’s case, Lupus destroyed her kidneys.
Despite the impact Lupus had on her health, Louise was lucky enough to be able to lead a full but short life, largely thanks to a kidney transplant in 2000. She became the mother to 3 beautiful children and was able to guide Flo and Fred into becoming the generous, kind people they are, just like their mother. She was a loving, funny and compassionate wife, mother and friend,
Given her own experience, Louise was passionate about fighting Lupus. If you would like to remember Louise and celebrate her life, any donation you can make to Lupus UK, however small, would be much appreciated,
Keith, Flo & Fred
