Nobody knows what life will throw at them but having the support from so many people means more than words can say. Organising this event has given me the focus I need to keep strong and positive. Lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM) is a rare lung disease that only occurs in women. It affects just over one woman in a million. We are a self-help group providing support for patients with LAM and raise money for vital research - it is often difficult to obtain money for research into a rare disease.
