Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The two most important people in my life have occupied my thoughts just lately. So, I have decided to do something about it.

My Mum fell and broke her hip, Mum will always be WonderWoman to me, so having not one metal hip but two just gives her added super hero status. Mums currently being looked after my the nurses and doctors at Heartlands hospital.

Phil, my husband turns 40 next week, I can't quite believe how fast time goes. Phil is truly my best friend, my constant and most of all he's my guiding light in difficult times.

All our family and friends know how much Phil likes triathlons, they also know, I will do anything to support Phil, carry bags, wash strange shaped lycra and be in the correct place to wave when Phil runs, cycles or swims past. But do one, well I would imagine most of you would laugh and say "No, not Lou."

A plan was hatched, to do a triathlon of Phil's choosing over a year ago, for Birthday present...

Phil choose the Gower triathlon, bless him.

It makes perfect sense to me to raise money for Mum (Heartlands hospital) and to ask all our friends and family to help me raise some money in honour of Phil turning 40.
