Story
I wanted to talk about some fundraising that we are doing over the summer.
The National Dahlia Collection at the Kehelland Trust simply wouldn’t exist without Dad/Chris.
You’ll have met him if you’ve visited (he loves to talk to everyone 😊). He’s moved crates, dug holes, weeded, mulched, planted, kept me calm, brought tea (every.single.time) and never ever complained - you name it…
He’ll be after a promotion at this rate 😉
Dad has recently had a diagnosis of Chronic Myleoid Leukaemia and that’s why we will be raising money for the Cornwall Leukaemia Trust on Saturday September 3rd with an open day where the proceeds will be donated to this charity.
Come along between 10-4, enjoy the dahlias and support a brilliant local charity. Bring a picnic, your family, your dog, we’d love to see you.
Thank you to everyone who has supported the National Dahlia Collection by lending a hand or visiting and enjoying the space. It means a huge amount.
