Story
Camilla was our beloved daughter, sister and auntie who devastatingly lost her life on the 4th February 2023 in a tragic accident. She was taken far too soon and we have been left with a huge void in our lives. We are all utterly heartbroken.
Camilla was a kind, caring and vivacious individual with the most incredible personality that lit up every room. The dancing queen at every party who possessed the most magnificent, infectious laugh.
She was a qualified actress who graduated from The Royal Scottish Academy of Arts. Her passion for the arts was second to none and her love for musical theatre in particular was known by all who knew her.
We have decided as a family that instead of people sending flowers for Camillas funeral, and as a lasting tribute to her that we would prefer for people to make a donation to BYMTs Musical Theatre department. Bromley Youth Music Trust is an independent music service nationally renowned for providing a very high quality comprehensive and inclusive instrumental and vocal music education to the young people of Bromley and surrounding areas. Sadly BYMT lost their funding from the local authority which will undoubtedly have a huge impact on them over time.
BYMT is very close to our hearts having been the heart of Musical Theatre lessons and phenomenal productions for three of her nieces Nadia, Amélie and Bella over the years and to date. Camilla always said how much she wished it had existed when she was a child and she adored coming to see the girls in all of their performances. The performing arts and the welfare of children were subjects very close to Camillas heart and we therefore decided that this would be a wholly appropriate and worthy cause for people to donate to should they wish to.
