In August 2021 we suddenly discovered our daughter had Scoliosis, having never heard of it before. The last few months have been a difficult voyage of discovery and understanding as we have worked with medical specialists to decide on the best course of action. In January 2022 she underwent spinal surgery to correct the condition and has started her recovery. It has been a scary time for us all and in taking on the challenge to swim across the English Channel in September 2022 I am keen to raise awareness of this condition and funds a charity that offers support.
