Story
We are walking and cycling to support FOCSA’s latest challenge to help indigenous communities in Colombia that have been affected by Covid.
We will be walking or cycling daily during the next couple of weeks until we complete 10 km at least ... unless you challenge us to walk/ cycle for a longer distance!!
**Update 1: Sun 30.08.20 we cycle 18km (with a lunch break half way).
We need a new challenge!!! 100km?? What do you think?? **
**Update 2: Sun 6.09.20 we walked 8km dressed up as a dragon and a vampire cat**
**Update 3: Sun 20.09.20 we walked, run and climbed trees for 2 hours ... completing 4km approx**
Thanks in advance for your help and support!!!!
About FOCSA:
Our mission is to help to improve the lives of the most disadvantaged children in Colombia. We fulfil our mission by donating medical, educational and other vital equipment to hospitals and specialised institutions that treat these children and improve the quality of their lives. We receive many requests for help from poorly-funded hospitals that assist children in very scarce conditions all over the country. These requests are reviewed by our medical advisors and the help of our Projects committee in London and Bogotá, and we prioritise based on the impact we will have. We not only save the lives of babies and children, but often the mothers' whose lives are in danger. By helping the children, we are also contributing to the welfare of the families.
