So as part of my BA Photography university project we got the choice to focus on anything we wanted and I chose Venezuela. Being half Venezuelan already was a good starting point for me as I knew a lot about it already, however I wanted to highlight the crisis that has been occurring nearly over the last 8 years (officially) and 15/20 years (unofficially). 

So to go along side my body of work in which I am having a solo exhibition of on Monday 9th 6-8pm (in the Mezzanine in the IOP on Penryn Campus), I decided to create a fundraiser with the charity HealingVenezuela. This charity puts all of their kindly donated money towards helping public hospitals in Venezuela have the resources they need to help the people in need. 

It would be so greatly appreciated if people were to donate and help raise some money and also some awareness. I will be posting updates on the work I am producing and I would love if people wanted to come along on Monday to take a look. 🇻🇪💔
