Our mission is to preserve Lori’s memory and legacy by financially helping the next generation of nurses after her unfortunate passing from pancreatic cancer at the age of 54 years young in 2021. Lori received her initial education from Indiana Purdue University in Ft. Wayne, Indiana from 1985-1987. She worked at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy for almost 30 years, starting her career as a clerk in the cardiac unit, as a Health Care Coordinator, and cardiac monitor technician as well as rising to be one of the premiere nurses in the Special Care Unit in 2001, and in 2005 became an RN where she worked in the SCU until 2021. She was a proud graduate of the last graduating class of the Charles E. Gregory School of Nursing where she was a Delegate for State & National Nurses Convention, a recording secretary for the class of 2005, and participated in the President Student Nurses Organization. Lori was an amazing, caring nurse who touched every patient and their family with her compassion and skill. Alongside her colleagues, she helped those in need during the COVID 19 pandemic, working long hours and risking her own health for her patients.

She received the Heart of Nursing award for leadership from New Jersey Nursing Students in 2003, was Employee of the month for Special Care Unity in Jan 2008. She was also a member of the New Jersey League of Nursing.
